Fall 8-Ball Tri-Cities Board and Info

The 2023 Fall Session 8-Ball Tri-Cities will be January 6-7, 2024 at Brass Tap & Billiards. The tournament is Single Elimination. Ten (10) teams will win a slot and advance to the APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill World Qualifier scheduled for May 17-20, 2024. Second-place teams will advance to the Backroad to Vegas Tournament.

Just as World Qualifiers are an extension of the World Pool Championships, Tri-Cities are an extension of Session Playoffs and will follow playoff rules except for Sudden Death, Common player rules, and allowances for teams that can not meet the 23 rule.

Forfeits will be 3-0
No Replays are allowed
No Certification is required
2 Time outs are allowed for Skill Level 3 and below
All players are required to have 6 matches with the Fall team that is participating

Please note when your team plays, each team will either play on Saturday or Sunday.
There are three rounds each day: 10:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 8:00 pm.

The 2026 Spring Session 8-Ball Tri-Annual will be April 11-14 at Brass Tap & Billiards. The tournament is Single Elimination. 2026 Ladies 8-Ball Vegas Qualifier Info

The Ladies 8-Ball Vegas Qualifier will begin at 11 am on Saturday, March 14 (doors open at 10 am). Triple Barrel Tavern will be the host location for this event. There will be three rounds on Saturday and three on Sunday. The Player's Meeting will be at 10:45 am Saturday morning. One Ladies' team will qualify to compete in Las Vegas from April 27-30, 2026. High House Billiards announced today that they will be moving to a new location in downtown Cary, we will be visiting teams during their regular nightly league play this week to discuss what this means for APA teams in the coming months.
