Team Captains Tournament Information: May 13 @ Benny's Billiards

This is a free tournament for team captains, the winners will advance to Las Vegas in August for the World Pool Championships and receive $800.00 per team member in Travel Assistance. Check your eligibility and put a team together today! All entries for this tournament must be received by 12pm on Friday, May 12.

The second link includes a list of all team captains that are eligible to participate as long as they have a current 2022 membership and are on active teams for the 2023 Spring and Summer Sessions. The 2026 Spring Session 8-Ball Tri-Annual will be April 11-14 at Brass Tap & Billiards. The tournament is Single Elimination. Twelve (12) teams will win a slot and advance to the APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill World Qualifier scheduled for June 2025. Just as World Qualifiers are an extension of the World Pool Championships, Tri-Annuals are an extension of Session Playoffs. They will follow p

The Ladies 8-Ball Vegas Qualifier will begin at 11 am on Saturday, March 14 (doors open at 10 am). Triple Barrel Tavern will be the host location for this event. There will be three rounds on Saturday and three on Sunday. The Player's Meeting will be at 10:45 am Saturday morning. One Ladies' team will qualify to compete in Las Vegas from April 27-30, 2026. High House Billiards announced today that they will be moving to a new location in downtown Cary, we will be visiting teams during their regular nightly league play this week to discuss what this means for APA teams in the coming months.
