9-Ball World Qualifier Summer 2021 Info

The 2021 Summer Session -Ball World Qualifier will be September 25-27 at Break Time Billiards and High House Billiards. The tournament consists of 32 teams and is Modified Single Elimination (guaranteed to play twice not lose twice). One (1) team will be qualifying for the APA World Pool Championships hosted in Las Vegas, in 2022!

World Qualifiers are an extension of the World Pool Championships which are played locally and are subject to national rules. Per local mandate, face masks will be required to cover the nose and mouth during the World Qualifier when players and spectators are not actively eating or drinking.

Live Tournament Board - Best viewing experience can be had by downloading google sheets mobile app.

All first-round matches will be Saturday morning!
Please note when and where your team(s) play on Saturday. Round times are different for each location.
All Sunday play will take place at the primary location, Break Time Billiards on Sunday morning beginning at 10:00 am.

World Qualifier Team Certification Form - World Qualifier Certification forms are due in the league office by 5 pm on Friday, 9/24/21. ANY TEAM THAT DOES NOT HAVE THEIR CERT FORM SUBMITTED ON TIME MAY BE SUBJECT TO A FIRST-ROUND FORFEIT.

Team Captain's Notes - A Team Captain's Meeting will be held 15 minutes prior to the start of the Saturday morning round at each location.

The 2025 Fall Session 8-Ball Tri-Annual will be December 13-14, 2025, at Triple Barrel Tavern. The tournament is Single Elimination. Ten (10) teams will win a slot and advance to the APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill World Qualifier scheduled for June 2025.
