9/12/2020 Update on NC Executive Order and League Activities

Dear APA Family,

A new Executive Order went into effect on September 4, 2020. That order, while allowing North Carolina to enter Phase 2.5, does not currently allow APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill to resume league activities. The current phase is scheduled to extend through October 2, 2020. We are following closely as changes occur within the state and will notify everyone as soon as we are able to resume APA league activities.

Spring 8-Ball Tri-Annual Board and Info

The 2026 Spring Session 8-Ball Tri-Annual will be April 11-14 at Brass Tap & Billiards. The tournament is Single Elimination. Twelve (12) teams will win a slot and advance to the APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill World Qualifier scheduled for June 2025. Just as World Qualifiers are an extension of the World Pool Championships, Tri-Annuals are an extension of Session Playoffs. They will follow p

2026 Ladies 8-Ball Vegas Qualifier Info

The Ladies 8-Ball Vegas Qualifier will begin at 11 am on Saturday, March 14 (doors open at 10 am). Triple Barrel Tavern will be the host location for this event. There will be three rounds on Saturday and three on Sunday. The Player's Meeting will be at 10:45 am Saturday morning. One Ladies' team will qualify to compete in Las Vegas from April 27-30, 2026. High House Billiards announced today that they will be moving to a new location in downtown Cary, we will be visiting teams during their regular nightly league play this week to discuss what this means for APA teams in the coming months.
