A New Way to Qualify for the Singles Regional Tournament

What makes it different?

Unlike the regular Singles Qualifier Board (where only one winner of 8 players moves on), the Splash Board gives FIVE players the chance to qualify – all within the same event!

Thanks to the special double elimination format.

That means more play, more fun and more opportunitiesto earn your spot.

Details

Entry Fee: $60.00 per player

Format: 16 player board, double-elimination style (no byes – full field required)

Matchups: Players are placed on the board in order of skill level (lowest to highest)

Outcome: 5 players from each Splash Board qualify for Regionals

Matches: Play full APA races in either 8-Ball or 9-Ball (one of the other. Not both) singles format. Players must have at least 10 lifetime matches in the last 2 years in the tournament format (8 or 9 Ball) and be on an active team in that format

More chances to win – 5 qualifiers per board (out of 16 players)

Fair Play – lose once and still have a shot in the loser’s bracket

Balanced competition – board is seeded from lowest to highest skill level
