2026 Team Captains Vegas Qualifier

This is the ONLY Team Captains Tournament scheduled for this league year. Winners will advance to compete in the Team Captains Championship at the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas this August 13-14, 2026!

Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Honolulu Billiards

Check-in at 9:00 am, Meeting at 9:30 am

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- Entry and payment deadline is Saturday, April 11, 2026.

- $150 entry fee per team. Pre-registration is required.

- Maximum of five (5) players allowed on roster.

- Teams may choose any three (3) of the five (5) team members to participate in each match.

- The total of the skill levels of the three (3) players fielded in any team match cannot exceed fifteen (15).

- A player’s highest skill level between formats (8-Ball & 9-Ball) must be used towards the 15-Rule.

***Skill levels more than two (2) years old will not be used in this event. Skill levels and scores must be current to be applicable.

*** Skill level 8/9s will count as 7s in this tournament.

- Only one player of skill level six (6) or higher, sometimes referred to as a senior skill level player, may play in any given match.

- Alternate between 8-Ball and 9-Ball racks, starting with 8-Ball. Each individual rack is worth one team point.

- Each team is limited to ONE (1) coaching time-out per game.

- Games Must Win chart will be used.

- Players must have at least twenty (20) 8-Ball League match scores OR twenty (20) 9-Ball League match scores within the last two (2) years by the entry deadline of June 30, 2026. A combination of the scores from the two (2) formats is NOT allowed.

- Players MUST have completed two (2) sessions as a Team Captain of a standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies team in the 2025/2026 League year (Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Spring 2026). Teams MUST be in separate sessions.

- Players must have played at least four (4) times in the Spring Session. Matches played can be in either standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies formats.

- Players must be on an active (Summer 2026 Session) APA roster.

- Players may only participate on one (1) team.

- Las Vegas Dates: August 13 - 14, 2026.

- This local Vegas qualifier format (modified single elimination or double elimination) will be dependent on the number of registered teams.
