2025 Masters World Qualifier

This is the ONLY Masters Tournament scheduled for this league year. Winners will advance to compete in the Masters Championship at the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas this April 29 - May 2, 2025!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- Entry and payment deadline is Friday, January 10, 2025.

- Up to a maximum of 4 players allowed on roster, with NO skill level limit and any combination of male/female teams.

- Teams may choose any 3 of the 4 team members to participate in each match. U.S. Amateur rules and format will apply.

- Race to seven (7) (8 games of 9-Ball and 5 games of 8-Ball).

- Players will lag; winner of lag chooses game (8-Ball or 9-Ball) or break. Once the format has been chosen, the entire set of that format must be completed before moving to the next format.

- Each individual match is worth one point. The first team to win 2 out of 3 individual matches wins the team match.

- Sudden Death will be implemented 2 hours and 30 minutes into a match. The rack must be struck in the third individual match by the 2-hours and-30-minute mark, or all subsequent matches become a race to two games.

- The use of jump cues is allowed.

- No coaching.

- Players must have at least twenty (20) scores/matches played
within the two-year period between March 3, 2023 and March 3, 2025. Matches can be any combination of 8-Ball format, 9-Ball format or Masters Division.

- Players must be on an active Spring Session APA roster in either the standard 8‑Ball or 9-Ball.

- Las Vegas Dates: April 29 - May 2, 2025

- Format will be dependent on the amount of registered teams.
