All players should have both the APA Mobile App and the Scorekeeper App. If a teammate doesn’t have them yet, please help them get set up. These apps are convenient tools for all members—just download from the App Store and claim your account.

1. Annual Memberships: must be paid before the end of the 4th week or you will be dropped! Brand New Players must Sign up at poolplayers.com before they can join any team!
2. Bonus points: will be lost for any team fee’s past due or paperwork not submitted on time. Teams have up to 2 days after play to submit payment or else it will be marked late. Example: Team plays on Monday payment must be recieved no later than Wednesday or Bonus points will be lost.
3. Forfeit Matches: are still full team fee’s and must be paid on or before the next scheduled match date or bonus points will be lost and past due procedures will apply. 
4. Roster Changes: may be made to a team during the first 4 weeks of play without prior approval from the office. You can do this yourself on scorekeeper app! *All New players to the APA must be a paid member before they can be added to your roster!
5. Local By-Laws: are available for everyone to read on the APA member services app as soon as you open it up just click the Northeast Mass APA PDF button 
6. Rule Questions: We have all heard it before "this has been a rule since i started playing!" are you not sure about that? Well we now have an online Team Manual with a terrific search function please click --> APA Team Manual and bookmark it for quick reference! 
7. Division Reps: are your go to for league related questions during league play, please utilize your Division reps if needed!
8. Match Requirements: All Players MUST have 4 matches played with their team during the session to be eligible for playoffs, Tri-Annual, Best of the Rest and World Qualifier. All new players must have 10 matches Lifetime played in the format your team qualified in by the end of the spring session (Tri-Annual does not count towards this requirement) to be eligible for World Qualifier.
9. Makeup Matches: All Makeup Matches must be approved by the League Office! If you do not get a makeup approved beforehand you run the risk of it being marked as a double forfiet! We do not approve makeup matches for teams not having enough players or certain players available. However Teams participating in Pre Approved League events such as but not limited to Tri-Annual, World Qualifiers, Best of the Rest and other league functions must be honored by the opposing team if requested. Holidays which have scheduled matches may also be requested and must be honored by the opposing team.

10. Replay Rule: To help prevent forfeits and to make it more likely matches are awarded on the table rather than by forfeit, Northeast Mass APA has chosen to adopt the Replay Rule. This rule allows one player (the “replay player”) from a team (the replay team”) to play twice on the same night in the following circumstances:

• The Replay Team does not have enough players present or cannot play the players it does have present without violating the Team Skill Level Limit rule (23-Rule). Teams utilizing the replay rule to avoid Team Skill Level Violations must have a player on the roster that would keep the team within the Team Skill Level Limit. If a team does not have a player available on the roster that could keep the team within the Team Skill Level Limit, then that team will forfeit the last match(es). For example, if a roster shows 6, 6, 5, 5, 5, 4, 4, 3, that team cannot play 6, 6, 5, 3 and use the SL 3 in a replay. There would need to be another SL 3 or SL 2 (SL 1 IN 9-Ball) on the roster in order to do this because the team has to be able to make 23 without the replay rule. In this example, the team would exceed the 23-Rule.

• Teams must notify their opponent of the need to use/or potential need to use a “replay” prior to the start of the 2nd individual match. If a team has a 5th player show up prior to the start of the 5th match, that player is required to play, even if a “replay” was requested, unless that player would break the Team Skill Level Limit rule.

• The opposing team gets to pick which player from the other team will be the “replay” player and that player must be chosen prior to the start of the 4th Individual match. The opposing team can pick any player present except those whose play would cause the Replay team to violate the Team Skill Level Limit rule. All players who have already played must be available as a choice for the “replay” match.

• Teams are allowed to use one “replay” per league night.

• The “replay” must be used during the last individual match (i.e. – 5th match). The “replay” may be used in the 4th individual match if the 5th individual match is forfeited or the 3rd individual match if the 4th & 5th individual matches are forfeited. Once a “replay” is used, the remaining matches must be forfeited, even if another player shows up.

• “Replays” will NOT be allowed during Playoffs or during any Higher-Level Tournament Play. • Both teams may utilize the “replay” rule on the same night if necessary. In this situation, both teams put up their own player and the team scheduled to put up a player in the 5th match puts up first.

Wild Card Draw is weighted based on final division standings, for example:

Last place team recieved 1 entry

2nd to last place team will recieve 2 entries

3rd to last place team will recieve 3 entries and so on.

All Point leaders at the end of the session are considered division champions and will recieve division champion awards at Tri-Annuals.
