If you enjoy playing the sport of Pool, but don't believe you are good enough to play in a Billiard League you are mistaken. The APA is a Handicapped Amateur League where all players of all skills have the chance to compete against other players, everyone competes equally thanks to The Equalizer scoring system.

If you have been considering putting a team in to join the league or if you are just looking to join the League yourself we have multiple options available. We offer multiple formats(8 Ball, 9 Ball, Double Jeopardy (both 8&9), Ladies 8 Ball, Jack & Jill/8 Ball/9 Ball Doubles and Masters League) for you to choose from as well as a multitude of nights to choose from.

The NEW 2025-2026 Dallas, Mesquite & Richardson, Garland, Rowlett Area Summer Session is scheduled to start the week of April 26th. Most Divisions will start the week of April 26th. There is still time to get your rosters into us.

We have to be able to get everything ready and delivered for the new Session starting April 26th.

Anyone considering adding a Team for the Summer Session please submit their Rosters to the League Office by Thursday April 23rd . If you want to start the first week of Session, Please submit your Rosters by the cutoff date. This will allow us time to setup all Division Schedules and packets before the Session starts on April 26th and after.

With existing Division start dates already being posted, the office is posting Potential Division start dates for new Divisions that are trying to be started.

New 9 Ball Destination Divisions

Last week I put out a feeler about starting a new 9 Ball Destination Division to go along side our existing 8 Ball Destination Divisions. I had a lot of positive feedback from players so we are trying to introduce new Divisions 391 and 395 to be played out of Scooters and Lone Star on Wednesday nights. 391 will play along side Div 381 which is the 8 Ball Destination. I put information out back in October of 2025 that this past January would be the last 8 & 9 Ball Doubles Straight to Vegas that NE Dallas would be running. Many of our players voiced their displeasure that we didn't get more slots to Vegas for the Doubles formats. In order to receive more slots we are required to run 8 & 9 Ball Doubles Divisions.
