Playbacks and Rescheduled Matches

Playbacks- There may be times when a team cannot provide enough players to shoot in a match. Should this happen, a team may request ONE playback in a given night. Please adhere to the following rules when utilizing a playback…

a) The 23 rule is still in play

b) Teams MUST notify their opponent of the need of a playback prior to the start of a match c) Once a team agrees to a playback, the decision CANNOT be changed, unless a 5th qualifying player shows up in the course of the match.

d) The playback must be the final match of the evening

e) The allowing team gets to choose the player for the playback. ALL PLAYERS present that evening are eligible and must remain present, unless it is agreed that they may leave. Should a player be chosen that IS NOT present, the match will be considered a “forfeit” and scored accordingly.

f) A team may only use 3 playbacks per session and playbacks MAY NOT occur within the final 4 weeks of the session.

g) A team DOES NOT have to allow a playback.

Cancellations- If either team chooses to postpone a match due, then the match will/must be rescheduled. The League Office WILL NOT cancel league play due to weather.

Rescheduled Matches- A new date of play must be given to the LO within ONE week of the original date of play and teams will have a total of THREE weeks from the original date to make up the postponed match. It is the captain’s responsibility to contact the opposing captain of cancellations, NOT the League Office’s. Should you have difficulty reaching the opposing captain, please contact the League Office immediately. You must notify the opposing team a minimum of 2 hours prior to scheduled start time.

IF A TEAM REQUESTS THE RESCHEDULING OF A MATCH, AND AT LEAST 2 HOURS NOTICE IS GIVEN, THEIR OPPONENT CANNOT DENY THE REQUEST. There are a few options available to you to get the matchplayed-you can split the match with 1-4 matches being played on one date and the remaining matches being played on another, you can pre play or post play. And to reiterate, you have a total of 3 weeks past the original scheduled date to get the match played. You are all expected to work together to get the matches played.

YES-WE ARE SCHEDULE TO PLAY ON SOME HOLIDAYS…NO-YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY ON THOSE DATES. In order for all divisions/nights of play to have the same amount of opportunities to get their minimum matches played, we MUST keep the schedule the same. You are more than welcome to reschedule any match that you need to.
