Electronic Scorekeeping is here!

Good Evening all South Central Indiana APA Players

As many of you know, we’ve been integrating electronic scorekeeping alongside traditional scoresheets for the past two months. Now, we’re excited to take the next step—starting June 1, we will be fully transitioning to electronic scorekeeping.

What this means for you as a player:

• Download the scorekeeper app to your phone to help your team keep score.
• Complete all scoresheets and submit them for full bonus points.
• All scored matches must be submitted to receive bonus points.
• Paper scoresheets will no longer be accepted after June 1.
• We will not provide you printed paper scoresheets after June 1.
• Host Locations will have blank scoresheets as needed to help but all matches must be recorded on the scorekeeper app.
• Full Team fees ($40 per format for regular divisions) can be sent to us via Zelle at southcentralapa@gmail.com or cash placed in team packets (per usual).
• Patches will be given out in team packets (per usual).
• Help and tutorial videos are located in the help section of APA national page.
• Masters, Ladies, and Doubles divisions are excluded from this transition and should continue scoring as usual. The scorekeeper app is being developed to support these formats in the future.

Important dates/announcements

• Player appreciation celebration is planned for September 20th! Mark your calendars!
• Fall session begins the week of August 3rd. Doubles, Ladies, Masters are not on the same schedule. Watch the app for schedules.
• Single Qualifier boards are planned for June 7 in Columbus and June 14th in Bloomington, chose one or both if you are interested, sign up is required via the google form with the Canva flyer. These are the last qualifier tournaments for Fall 2025!
• MVP Tournament and Captain/Co Captain Tournament are in planning phases.
• Our league bylaws have changed and are effective April 21st. The bylaws can be found on the app, website or ask us! The most important update is the playoff tournament structure. Please take time to look this over.
• The Indiana APA State Invitational dates have changed! See the flyer for details.
