Early Bird Registration is when existing teams are expected to register their team with the League Office for the next session on or before their last week of play. This early notice of teams returning allows the league to plan divisions appropriately and release schedules for the next season in advance.

Each team that submits the Early Bird Registration form by the deadline will earn 2 additional bonus points in 8-Ball and/or 10 additional bonus points in 9-Ball for the next session. This is different than prior sessions since this is a change for this league year. Points will be awarded when the Summer 2026 1st week's scoresheets are processed.

To get Early Bird Registration bonus points, teams can register for next season through various channels by deadline of Friday, April 10, 2026 for all teams. This excludes ladies' league and masters division. The next session is Summer 2026 that starts Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Early Bird Registration can be done three (3) ways:

⭐In the Scorekeeper app, prior to submitting, the app will ask if your team is returning next session. Make a selection. As long as a response is provided, bonus points will be provided.  

⭐Teams Captains can also register with the league office via the Team Registration Google Forms.  

⭐Any team member can register with the league office via text 562.217.9842 or email to lanorthoc@apaleagues.com. Telling the LOs in person is not suffice. We would like it in writing.

Early Bird Registration bonus points will be awarded when the Summer 2026 1st week's scoresheets are processed.

Note: It is not too early to register brand new teams for next session and to still receive early bird registration. You can use the the Team Registration Google Forms to register brand new teams.

AWARENESS: For World Qualified (WQ) teams or for World Pool Championships (WPC), continued play is required, but team roster and team name changes can be made. The roster from Spring 2026 session, week 4, is who plays in WQ and WPC. As long as the player is active and on a current roster in the format qualified, they can continue to play.
