🎯 Team Captains Qualifier #1 — One Team In

There’s something a little different about the Team Captains Qualifier field — it’s made up entirely of players who’ve spent more than one session this year in the Captain role. A lot of familiar faces, a lot of experience, and a lot of leadership and sportsmanship in the room. It’s always one of our favorite days.

Just one day after the APA Poolplayer Championships close, we’re already setting the lineup for the next Vegas run starting in August.

At the end of the day, El Capitan — Samantha Shea, Logan Lane, Danica Waytowich, Ryan Carter, and Shina Chauhan — are the first group heading to the APA Team Captains Championship this August in Las Vegas.

For some on this team, this ticket back to Vegas comes less than 24 hours off the runway from their last APA Championship run — while for others, it marks a first championship appearance.

And a nice note to go with it — Shina Chauhan, the 2025 Jack sonville APA Player’s Choice Rookie Captain of the Year, is part of the group making the trip.
