Congratulations to the Summer MVP winners!
UPDATE TO ORIGINAL POST: Why are there more players on the list than usual? Because new this session, the MVP program has expanded to recognize the top THREE players in each skill level tier in a division, rather than the top two! As the league has grown and divisions sizes have increased, skill level tiers have grown quite large and competitive. More often than not, the 3rd place finisher is right there with 1st and 2nd, so it made sense to expand the field (and the pot, $$) to recognize players who really had an outstanding session of play and are deserving of the MVP award. If there was a tie for 3rd place, all players received the recognition. Congratulations to all!
You can view the full list of MVP finalists on our website or Facebook page.
These players have a chance to compete in the Summer MVP Tournament and earn their way into the 2025 Jacksonville Invitational. Summer MVP winners advance to the Jacksonville Singles Regional where they'll play to advance to the APA Poolplayers Championships in Las Vegas. They are also competing for their share of more than $800 cash per skill level tier, with a full field. On top of that, all semi-finalists at the Summer MVP tournament get to advance to the Jacksonville Invitational, sponsored by Cuetec, and featuring a Cuetec cue and $500 added per skill level tier.
Don't miss your chance to compete!
Invitations and MVP patches are being dispersed this week and next to the division in which the award was earned. Find your Division Rep to claim yours!
