HALLOWEEN INFO:

We've gotten a lot of questions about league play on Halloween. There are matches scheduled and per the new makeup match guidelines this session, prematches should have been the solution to any known conflicts. However, given the guidelines are new and this is a holiday, we are extending a one week grace period for makeup matches. Your opponent must agree to the makeup (since really this should have been a prematch anyway), but if they do agree to it then you can finish the match by the next week's play. Keep in mind that you may need to schedule the makeup on a night other than league play to make sure tables and players are available. Any matches not played by Nov. 7 will be double-forfeited, regardless of the team requesting the makeup.

For those of you who will be at league Monday, we want to see your costumes! Post a picture of you in your costume at league and tag Jacksonville APA to enter the Jacksonville APA costume contest! Winners will receive a prize package and some free league play. You are welcome to participate in the costume contest even if you don't play on Monday but want to spend the holiday at your favorite host location. 😎
