Welcome to Week 5!
Here are a few points to remember from our Local Bylaws at this point in the session:
- Teams can continue to make roster changes as needed through Week 8. (Roster changes can still be made after Week 8, but ONLY with League Office approval).
- Prior to adding a player to your roster, make sure you do two things: 1) contact the League Office to verify their membership number and starting skill level, and 2) make sure the player has an active 2022 APA membership (we can verify that for you when you contact us to complete #1). Remember to have new players join online to play their first night free!
- Teams can no longer play a player twice in a match after the fourth week of play.
- Teams can do makeup matches, if needed. Teams should give their opponent as much notice as possible when a makeup match is needed. Makeup match requests may not be approved if made with less than 24 hours notice of the scheduled match time. Makeup Match Agreements need to be completed, signed by both captains, and submitted with one of the team envelopes anytime a makeup match is scheduled.
Good luck to the teams competing in Tri-Annuals this weekend! All Tri-Annual qualified 8-Ball teams play at 10am, Saturday, April 23rd at R' House. Most of the Tri-Annual qualified 9-Ball teams play at 10am, Sunday, April 24th at QBall. The two teams with a bye the first round have already been contacted. If your captain has not heard from us, your team plays at 10am. Doors open at 9am both days for practice.
And finally, a reminder to our Spring MVP players to register for the Spring MVP Tournament and/or the Annual MVP Tournament. Reigster on our website. You need your Member Serives account info to register. Call us if you're having trouble so we can help.
Have a great week!
