Everywhere in the Official Team Manuel (OTM) a rule is written for that keyword, it will show you. (There is also a paperback rule book in every team envelope.) -- Need our DuPage APA Local Bylaws? -- They are on the main page of the app you are viewing this message on. -- Someone challenging you on a rule? -- Ask them to show you were it says that.

We welcome any calls/messages regarding something that you can't find an answer to, need help with, or any ideas/suggestions you may have. We are here for you, but we also do our best to put the info at your fingertips --- on Facebook, on the APA app, and on physical paper in your team envelope.

At the end of the day, this is an ametuer, social pool league ~ it's about a weekly night out, making friends, making memories and the fun that comes with it all. Don't let arguing over the rules get in the way of having fun... life is too short.

DuPage APA Fall Session Updates

Play-Ahead/Make Up Matches – Any matches that need to be played in advance or made up from regularly scheduled date must be paid for at the completion of the final match. We do not want partial match payments. Captains, collect from you players as the individual matches are being played so you get your payment. Pay the league office when all are completed.

Minimum Plays - Fall session is SIX plays to be eligible for the Playoffs and SEVEN plays for MVP.

Chips/Patches - Please document all chips or patches earned on the money envelope provided in your team envelope. If not documented, award may not be recognized. (See Las Vegas Experience note below)

Double Play Rule – One player is allowed to play twice, if needed to avoid a forfeit. Team can’t exceed the 23 rule and the player can't be higher than a SL6. Refer to bylaws for rule guidelines. No double play allowed in playoffs.

NEW PLAYER MEMBERSHIP - Must be paid when the 1st match is played for each player. New members must sign up at join.poolplayes.com. Players can renew membership at www.poolplayers.com. If a match is played and the membership is not paid, points will be deducted from the team score.

Weekly Dues - $50.00 per team per match. Coins or ripped currency are NOT an acceptable form of payment. (Coins often fall out of the envelopes and create short pays.)

Electronic Payment - Electronic payment is accepted through Zelle or Venmo to 630-940-6181. It is the Captain’s responsibility to ensure payments are made for the team. If paying electronically, only full team payments will be accepted. If payment is not received within 24hrs of the match date, bonus point(s) will be deducted.

Bonus Points - Bonus points will be deducted if dues are not paid in full within 24 hours of the match, as well as if scores are not submitted in the app when the matches are complete.

Coaching Rule - Skill Level 3 & under are allowed TWO coaching sessions per rack, EXCEPT in Playoffs and High Level Tournaments. Consensus coaching is allowed. 1 minute limit on timeouts.

DuPage APA Las Vegas Experience - Program designed to ensure as many players enjoy the APA World Pool Championships experience. $1.00 entry into the drawing for every chip/patch awarded. No maximum on entries. Details in the bylaws. Ask your Division Rep for more info.
