SPRING 2025 SESSION UPDATE!!!

DuPAGE APA SPRING 2025
Minimum Plays - Spring Session is SIX plays to be eligible for the playoffs, and SEVEN plays for MVP.
World Qualifier (Citywide) Eligibility – Any new APA member must have 10 plays by the end of Spring Session to participate. All existing players must have SIX plays by the end of Spring Session AND 10 APA matches in the last 12 months (by the end of Spring Session).
NEW PLAYER MEMBERSHIP - Must be paid when the 1st match is played for each player. New members must sign up at join.poolplayes.com. Players can renew membership at www.poolplayers.com. If a match is played and the membership is not paid, points will be deducted from the team score.
Bonus Points - Bonus points will no longer be deducted for double-play. Bonus points will be deducted if dues are not paid in full within 24 hours of the match, as well as if scores are not submitted in the app when the matches are complete. Teams are not entitled to bonus points, they are BONUS points which are earned!
Chips/Patches - Please document all chips or patches earned on the money envelope provided in your team envelope. If not documented, award may not be recognized. (See Las Vegas Experience note below)
DuPage APA Las Vegas Experience - Program designed to ensure as many players enjoy the APA World Pool Championships experience. $1.00 entry into the drawing for every chip/patch awarded. No maximum on entries. Details in the bylaws. Ask your Division Rep for more info.
Double Play Rule – ONE player is allowed to play twice, if needed, to avoid a forfeit. There is no penalty for double play. Team can’t exceed the 23 rule and the player can't be higher than a SL6. Refer to bylaws for rule guidelines.
Bylaws - Bylaws are located on the app and on our website. Please review for revisions.
Coaching Rule - Skill Level 3 & under are allowed TWO coaching sessions per rack, EXCEPT in Playoffs and High Level Tournaments. Consensus coaching is allowed. 1 minute limit on timeouts.
Weekly Dues - $50.00 per team per match. Coins or ripped currency are NOT an acceptable form of payment. (Coins often fall out of the envelopes and create short pays.)
Electronic Payment - Electronic payment is accepted through Zelle or Venmo to 630-940-6181. It is the Captain’s responsibility to ensure payments are made for the team. If paying electronically, only full team payments will be accepted. If payment is not received within 24hrs of the match date, bonus point(s) will be deducted.
Calendar - Calendar for 2024-2025 league year is available on Facebook in the DuPage APA Members Group, on the APA app under "News".
Event/Tournaments- YOU MUST BE ON AN ACTIVE DUPAGE ROSTER to participate in any of our events.
Forfeits - All forfeits are paid for by each team, no exceptions.
Playoff Format - Refer to Bylaws for format structure. $50.00 is due on all scoresheets regardless of how many matches are played.
