Sandbagging

ADDRESSING SANDBAGGING! This post is lengthy, but important! Sandbagging is a word that is being used way too frequently and as players, you should NOT be accusing your opponents of such and it won't be tolerated. There is a process to file a complaint... simply put your concerns in writing to us and we WILL look into it! We document EVERY single written complaint and attach it to the players record. We have additional tools in our toolbox to review players on a deeper level than we already do weekly, and your complaints assist us with that process. If you don't document it, we can't track it. Please understand that we are NOT saying it doesn't exist, but pointing fingers and accusing them of cheating is NOT the answer. When you do so, you are removing the fun for someone's night out...not to mention challenging their integrity & potentially creating conflict or an altercation. It is simply uncalled for! If someone kicks your butt, how are they laying down? Often times we'll go back to previous matches to see where you kicked their butt! Or, we'll get a complaint saying they were missing balls on purpose, yet YOU have NO defensive shots marked for that player! It takes all of us to help reduce cheating, but those who lack moral fortitude, will try to find a way. Have fun, meet people and play pool is the slogan....let's honor that! Try this.. "Hey, you played really well tonight...great shooting!" Then, shake hands and move on....if you believe something about the match was amiss, put it to us in writing. Thank you!
