The person with the most points (see below) will win a trip to MiniMania in April/May of 2026.

What’s MiniMania you ask?

MiniMania events are held 18 hours per day during the Poolplayer Championships and the World Pool Championships. MiniMania Tournaments are open to all current APA members with at least 20 scores in one format within the last two years by April 23 for the Poolplayer Championships or July 31 for the World Pool Championships in either 8 Ball or 9-Ball (10 scores in 8-Ball & 10 scores in 9-Ball will not be considered 20 scores) and guarantees 100% payback of each tournament’s entry fees. Entry fees range from $10 to $50 and must be paid upon registration. Entrants must bring a picture ID and their current APA membership card. You are only allowed to register for one event within a 4-hour time frame.

So how does that fit into the
“Taste of Vegas for Individuals?”

Open to area #232 players ONLY

1. Player(s) MUST have the qualifications from Nat’l in order to participate in MiniMania.
2. Player(s) MUST be able to travel to Las Vegas from Philadelphia during late April/May upon release of Nat'l dates (Airfare flight info won’t be available until late February and will be booked by the League Office).
3. Players MUST have photo ID to fly (RealID or Passport)/proof of identity in order to play in Las Vegas.
4. Hotel room(s) will be booked by the League Office (1 room if 1 player wins. If 2 players of the same sex win, 1 room. If 2 players of opposite sex win, 2 rooms).
5. Any additional cost/fees will be out of pocket per player
6. There is no crossover between tournaments/trips/for Individuals. Meaning if you win 8-ball/9-ball/for Individuals common player(s) DOES NOT get 2 airfares, hotel rooms, etc.,

LO discretion:
ie: Cannot fold a current team to create a new one. Cannot drop a team(s) in a division and create a new division, etc., These examples apply to ALL instances below for qualifications. Need clarification? Contact the LO.

Point Structure:

1. Put in a NEW team (must be verified by the LO) = 1 pt
2. Help someone put in a NEW team (must be verified by the LO) = 1 pt
3. Bring in a NEW to APA player (must be verified by the LO) = 2 pts
4. Start a NEW division (must be verified by the LO) = 1 pt per team + 1 pt for the division
5. Bring in a team with 2 APA players who haven’t played in a year or more (must be verified by the LO) = 2 pts
6. Bring in a team with 2 NEW APA players who have NEVER played before (must be verified by the LO) = 3 pts
7. Bring in a new Host Location and a team starts playing there (must be verified by the LO) = 4 pts
8. And the end of the incentive period, the player who has the most points wins!!!!

All the above listed MUST stay active for the time of the incentive (if a player, team, etc, drops then points are deducted from the total accrued)

2 individuals tie in points, both will be awarded

More than 2 individuals tie for the same amount of points, all will participate in a blind draw
