We wanted to give you all plenty of notice regarding a change in your weekly League dues. Many of you might know this, but your weekly dues of $10/person has not changed since 2009! This is almost unheard of in our industry, or any other for that matter! It is no secret that in the past 13 years, the cost of everything has gone up! We have done our best to continue to provide you with the awards and monies that you are accustomed to during this time. We suffered the loss of almost 100 pool tables in 2009 and then the Covid pandemic hit. Both of those catastrophic events obviously impacted our business, yet we survived. It is obviously becoming more and more difficult with the prices of patches, pins, trophies, supplies, gas, flights, etc. continually going up without us needing to make a change. Effective with the Summer 2022 Session, your weekly dues will increase from $10 to $11/per person. As a result, we will also be providing the host locations with an increase. So, your table time would be $13 ($26 for Double Jeopardy). Again, while this increase is mostly being put in place to simply cover the cost of doing business, you should see additional benefit to you in the form of Tricup and Vegas payouts. We hope this minimal increase will not affect your ability to continue participation in the APA and that you understand the need for the increase.
