Welcome to the 2026 Summer Session!

APA Summer sessions are unique as it is the 1st of 3 qualifying sessions for the 2027 Las Vegas World Qualifier. This is an ideal time for new APA players to join, as it provides ample time to meet the minimum match requirements for the World Qualifiers, singles boards and Showdown Series events, such as 8-Ball Doubles, 9-Ball Doubles and Jack and Jill Las Vegas tournament qualifiers.

Listed below are some other important facts and reminders about the upcoming 2026 Summer session:

👉 Season Length: The regular season will consist of 15 weeks, followed by one or two weeks of playoffs. Divisions with 6 or more teams will have two rounds of playoffs, while divisions with 4-5 teams will have one round.

👉 Playoff Eligibility: To qualify for Summer playoffs, all players must complete at least six matches during the regular season. Please note that byes and forfeits do not count toward this requirement.

📣 Match Requirement Exception: If your team receives two or more byes or whole-team forfeits during the session, the minimum requirement to qualify for playoffs is reduced to five matches.

👉 Memorial Day (May 25): Score sheets for Week 8 matches will be released during Week 1 to allow plenty of time for pre-playing. Host locations will be open on Memorial Day if you choose to play then; otherwise, you may pre-play or post-play these matches. All Memorial Day matches must be completed by the end of Week 10. Please coordinate with your host location regarding table availability if you schedule matches outside of your regular time.

🙌 Bye Incentives: APA of South Charlotte offers incentives for teams that fill byes. Please contact the League Office to inquire about these incentives or to see if a bye is fillable in your division.
