Hi friends! The Team Captains Vegas Qualifier is coming up!

WHEN: April 11, 2026; Doors open at 10:00 a.m.; matches start at 11:00 a.m.

WHERE: FOP, Calle Maria Luisa, Santa Fe, NM

ENTRY FEE: $125 per team

PAYOUTS: 100% payback! 1st place takes 75% + $250 added by Central NM APA and represents Central NM APA in Las Vegas, NV! 2nd place takes 15% and 3rd and 4th place split 10%.

I have posted the list of eligible captains for you on the Central NM APA website. Click here to access the website. The list is in the menu on the left (2026 Eligible Team Captains). You can also register your team from the website by clicking Tournament Registration.

The National Team Captains tournament is August 13 to August 14, 2026.

Teams can have a maximum of 5 players; 3 players play each match. The combined skill level of the 3 players cannot exceed 15. Players will play at their highest skill level for either 8 or 9 ball. The skill level cap for higher skill level players is 7.

All players on the team must play in the Central NM APA league and must have at least 20 match scores (8, 9 or a combination of both) in the last 2 years by June 30, 2026. All players must be active on an 8 and/or 9 ball team this session and have played at least 4 times by the end of the session. All players on the winning team must also be on a Summer session team or they will lose their eligiblity.

The format of the tournament is alternating 8 and 9 ball racks. The bracket will be modified single elimination. I have posted a sample scoresheet on the website.
