This message was posted on my Facebook page and the Central Ohio APA Players page. I am posting it here for those of you who are not on Facebook. 

This is definitely not the post I thought I would be making to start 2024, and I don't even know where to start. I have been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, possibly stage 3 depending on the lymph nodes. The doctors are not really sure where to go from here. I have to get a CT Scan, Bone Scan and getting my lymph nodes in my armpit biopsied later next week. I will have a double mastectomy, chemo and radiation. Yep, you have read that all correctly! Hard to believe right???

Right now I just want to crawl in a hole crying and never come out, but I just keep thinking of my family and I have to fight this like the bad bitch I am. I will get this strength from all my family and friends. I will fight this just like Renee did!!! (Hold my beer)

Soon you will get to see me rockin' different hair styles or caps depending on which personality I have that day!

Now to the work part... Obviously I will not be able to withhold the standards I try to keep while l go through all these treatments and surgery. I love all my pool players and will do my absolute best to keep things running smoothly with the help from Mike, my family and my division reps. Nothing is changing with leagues or tournaments at this time!!

Please respect our family and our time together while dealing with the unknown future. Please understand when I am not able to respond to each and every one of you. All prayers appreciated.
