With the holidays in the rear view, it's time to look forward to what's coming up in 2026 for Baton Rouge APA...

First up is the 9-ball scotch doubles straight to Vegas qualifier on Jan. 31 at Bayou Billiards. Registration is open now at batonrouge.apaleagues.com (click on tournaments, then doubles).

You must have an online member services account to register. If you have an account and get an "unauthorized" message, then you did not complete the initial registration process. Head to join.poolplayers.com, scroll down and click on the resend verification email link. That should resolve the issues and allow you to register for events. This event is limited to 32 teams and you MUST register online. Payment should only be made in cash on the day of the event.

Details:
Format: 9-ball scotch doubles - $100 team entry
combined skill level max 10, alternate shot, one timeout per team, per rack, modified single elimination.

Players must be on a current Baton Rouge apa 9 ball team with 20 matches played in last two years.

Winning this event qualifes team to participate in the APA Poolplayer Championships, April 26-27.

ANNUAL DUES: Annual dues are required to have been paid come January 1. Any player who plays after that day and has not cleared their annual dues will not be credited for their match. Following this week of play (it's week 6 for most divisions), any player showing as unpaid will be removed from rosters (we can put them back on once they are paid). REMINDER: For most of our standard format 8/9 ball divisions (with the exception of Thursday teams) this is our fourth week of play in the Spring session. This is the final week to make changes to your roster IF your team is already qualified for the Baton Rouge APA World Qualifiers at L'Auberge.
