Masters and Ladies Divisions gearing up

The new session for the Baton Rouge APA Master's and Ladies only 8-ball divisions will start Oct. 14th and 16th respectively.

The APA Master's division is a non-handicapped division which follows the US Amateur format and is a Vegas qualifier division. Teams are comprised of up to four players, three play per night. This division currently competes on Tuesday nights.

The Ladies only 8-ball division, which also qualifies a team for the Vegas Championships, follows standard APA rules with the exception that three players play per night to a skill level max of 15. Teams are allowed up to five players on the roster. The ladies play on Thursday nights in the Baton Rouge area.

Ever since the Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown was created years ago, one glaring omission from the event was our Master's division players. Since the current MVP structure is based on a points per match configuration geared to standard format 8/9 ball as well as ladies 8-ball, Master's with their current match structure just didn't fit in. So with that in mind, we've created a new event to coincide
