The Summer 2025 Tri Annuals are tomorrow Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7 at Trickshots Sports Bar.
Opening round rosters are now available online at batonrouge.apaleagues.com under the Tri Annual tab on the left hand navigation bar.
Some reminders...
No fees are due for this event. Someone always asks... which makes me think I should... but I won't.
One timeout per player, per rack, regardless of skill level.
Unfortunately we are still using hard copy scoresheets at this time (although the App for Tournaments is now undergoing REAL testing) So hopefully this will be the last one!
Check your skill levels carefully as they may differ from current session skill levels. Players are to play at either their current skill level, or session ending from when they qualified.. whichever is higher.
Lag for the breaks!
It's normally fairly tight with regards to seating as this is a large event. Please make sure to share seating areas with opponents -- especially old people like me. Kindness goes a long way.
This is a single elimination, sudden death event. Team must be in the fifth individual match by the 3 hour and 45 minute mark for 8 ball and by the 3 hour mark for 9 ball or sudden death guideline will apply to any matches which have not yet begun. The balls must be broken in the opening rack or sudden death rules still apply. In 8-ball sudden death - two racks max, first rack is worth two points, second rack is worth one point to the overall team match. In 9-ball, ball counts are simply doubled.
High point winner plaques and Big Dawg awards will be available for pickup for those teams which earned those in the summer session. Please pick them up before you leave the facility.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!
