World Pool Championships Update

The World Pool Championships run for our 8-ball team contingent from Baton Rouge wrapped up yesterday with three of the four teams finishing in the money!

You Cried for it led the way finishing in a tie for 65th out of 793 teams. Slop Shots and The Saloon Shooters each finished tied for 129th after solid runs to make the money rounds. Rollin' on the River wrapped up their Vegas experience finishing in a tie for 769.

Next up for Baton Rouge APA will be the 9-ball portion of the event with Senior League opening the action on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Patti's Crew hits the felt at 2 p.m. with Canal Bank 9 and Genuine Bull breaking the balls at 7 p.m. Vegas time.

The team captains event, where three teams from BR APA will participate, gets underway on Thursday.

Team Certification forms and Greens fees due date

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete. Then I will start the process of having to track you down and look at you disapprovingly.But seriously, pl
