The Baton Rouge APA Big Dawg Challenge was started to recognize the top teams each session across the entire Baton Rouge APA league area.

The team, in both 8-ball and 9-ball, with the highest points per week average at the conclusion of each session will be presented with the Big Dawg Awards at the corresponding Tri Cup tournament.

For the Spring 2025 session, The Saloon Shooters, out of the Warehouse Saloon narrowly edged Rack'em Tight (Rickochet Billiards) and Constantly Scratching (Trickshots Sports Bar) for the top spot in 8-ball.

In the 9-ball format, it was Sophisticated Shooters (Livingston Country Club) earning the title over Rack and Roll (Bayou Billiards) and Blurred Vision (La Daiquiris).

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete.
