Scorekeeping Information: Each session I run a report titled the "Team Defensive Shot Average Report" which allows the league office to identify shortcomings with particular teams or divisions who are not keeping score properly.

Marking defensive shots properly is a key component to the handicap system and is critical to skill levels being calculated correctly. It also the most misunderstood component to scorekeeping during matches.

While most of our teams do a pretty good job marking defensive shots, if you know that your team does not mark defensive shots accurately, please note that I do look closely at this report and have and will make manual adjustments to skill levels based on the findings.

So if you are a new captain or just need a refresher, I would definitely check out the video and make sure your team is scoring accurately to ensure your members and your opponents' matches are being scored accurately and to avoid any unanticipated potential skill level adjustments.
