Snowmaggedon Update: We are anxiously watching the weather to see what its going to do but the models continue to show a high probability of wintry precipitation for our area Tuesday and likely continued travel difficulties for Wednesday

While postponing league is normally not an issue, the fact that it is the spring session (final qualifying session of the league year) combined with already missing two weeks of play for our Tuesday and Wednesday divisions with the recent holidays, could mean issues for members trying to get their required matches played to be able to participate in session-end and year-end events.

Therefore we will not have league scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week BUT will require matches to be made up. We understand make up matches can be a pain (and we hate them too) but they are a necessity in this situation.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY TEAMS (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MASTERS) WILL HAVE UNTIL FEB. 22 TO GET ANY MATCHES COMPLETE FROM THIS WEEK. IF TEAMS ARE NOT ABLE TO AGREE ON A DATE, THEN I WILL SCHEDULE A (LIKELY INCONVENIENT) DATE FOR THE MATCH TO BE PLAYED -- SO AVOID THAT AND WORK TOGETHER TO GET THEM DONE.

MASTERS TEAMS WILL HAVE UNTIL FEB. 4 TO GET ANY MAKE UP MATCHES COMPLETE.

Tuesday and Wednesday scoresheets are already available on the scorekeeper app if teams are interested in playing those matches early. If you need contact information for your opponent, please reach out to the league office.

Now all that being said... if the weather does a "Louisiana" and it doesn't even rain (ice), sleet or snow, go ahead and play your match if it's safe and the location is open. I wanted to get ahead of this in case teams wished to play their matches early.

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete.
