US Women's Amateur Championships start Wednesday

The US Amateur Championships start tomorrow with the ladies taking center stage.

One of our own, Chandra Autin, will open play tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. eastern time in Orlando, Fla. at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

She will be competing against 40 other amateur women poolplayers from across the country for the title of US Women's Amateur Champion.

The US Women's Amateur Championship is a two-day, double elimination event featuring some of the top amateur women players in the country. Each match features a race to five format with three games of 8-ball and six games of 9-ball in the set.

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete.
