No League play on Labor Day!

Welll...... it's a Monday. And its a Monday after an LSU football loss (shut it Tanner Johnston at least it wasn't Georgia Tech). And along with that it was a late night game after many beverages.... So in most cases that would make it a trying day at best. BUT its Labor Day! (and thankfully I didn't drop two grand to go to Vegas for the game...phew)

So for most of you... not me obviously as my wife is a slave driver and I owe my soul to Amazon at this point ... have the day off! And a friendly reminder there is also no league play tonight -- Amazon is a bit miffed about that btw --

So enjoy your day safely and we'll all be back in the saddle tomorrow...

Summer session tri cups coming up this weekend and we are looking forward to seeing everyone!

World Qualifier Brackets release

We've got roughly 2-1/2 weeks until the Baton Rouge APA World Qualifiers are on! We will release the schedule and brackets tonight at 6 p.m. on Facebook live.

Poolplayer Championships - Vegas wrap up

Vegas Wrap upAs of Saturday morning...The 2026 Poolplayer Championships are a wrap for Baton Rouge APA members with a solid showing producing two top-5 finishes among the seven events. Wrapping the event for our contingent was Anthony Bamugo who had a great run in 9-ball singles. He advanced all the way to the final bracket losing out late last night and finishing in a tie for 5th place! Marquise

Vegas UpdateAs of Friday morning...The 2026 Poolplayer Championships are winding down but four Baton Rouge APA members are still hitting the tables today. All four 9-ball singles participants will be in action this afternoon with Anthony Bamugo leading the charge.
