Registration for the 2025 Baton Rouge APA 9-ball Scotch Doubles Straight to Vegas will open tomorrow (Thursday, Aug. 29) at 8 a.m.

The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 14th at Rickochet Billiards. This event is limited to 24 teams. $100 per team entry. Max combined skill level of 10. Players must be from Baton Rouge APA and on a current 9-ball roster to participate. Players must also have a minimum of 20 matches played in the 9 ball format to be eligible. Modified single elimination bracket.

Winning team will represent Baton Rouge APA at the Poolplayer Championships in Vegas in April/May 2025.

The Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown field for the Spring 2025 session is now set and the event is completely closed. No additions to the lists below will be taken. The brackets have already been drawn and, once formatted, will be released later today. The Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown for the spring 2025 session is this weekend at Kenny's Cue Club. 8-ball is slated for Saturday, July 12 and 9-ball for Sunday, July 13.This event is free and open to all qualifying MVPs from the spring 2025 session.
