VEGAS UPDATE 08/10/24
A solid start to the 2024 APA World Pool Championships saw most having a great time competing and meeting fellow poolplayers from around the world!

But in our little corner of the world, lots of action going with our four 8-ball teams and two Team Captains teams.

In 8-ball action, River Rats bowed out of the event finishing tied for 513th. Tiger Traxx lost its first round and is playing in an elimination match right now. Cue the Music and Team Shoot'em both remained on the winners side with Cue the Music playing Sunday at 9 a.m. and currently in a tie for 129 and Team Shoot'em back in action tonight at 7 p.m. Vegas time also standing in a tie for 129th.

In Team Captains format action, Just Kidding won its first match yesterday and is currently playing its second match now. Team Yep! opens play today at 3 p.m. Vegas time.

Our two masters teams are either en route or just hitting Vegas with LScue playing its first round Sunday at 9 a.m. Vegas time and OG's opening play on Monday at 9 a.m. Vegas time.

The Ladies 8-ball only team, Midnight's Angels, opens play Sunday at 9 a.m.

Next week features 9-ball and Jack and Jill scotch doubles.

Team Certification forms and Greens fees due date

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete. Then I will start the process of having to track you down and look at you disapprovingly.But seriously, pl
