Spring session MVP Throwdown Information - PLEASE READ

Over the years there have been several iterations of the bracket formats at the MVP event. As this event continued to grow in size and popularity we knew a few changes would eventually be unavoidable.

From hosting the event every other session to now every session, and from regular modified single elimination to a hybrid format, we continued to make changes to the event as the field sizes continue to grow. This session will be no different as we have again made some changes based on field sizes/time/table availability.

One of my goals for this program was to continue to work to mirror the national singles program tier breakdown as closely as possible and we've gotten closer this session as you will see several new tiers offered increasing payouts, awards and singles regionals qualifications for our members.

But with that current and expected continued growth of the program we also made some necessary changes to be able to manage the event in a reasonable manner. Much like our singles boards qualifiers, this event will now move to a single elimination event. (Don't freak out... it's still FREE).

With the increased number of tiers, this single event is now awarding over $4,000 in cash and awards.

So we are excited to see everyone participating next weekend and please note, you must be listed on THE BELOW participation lists as registered MVPs to play in this event.

READ THIS PART.... If you were a spring session MVP but did not register in advance and simply walk up, we may not be able to enter you into the event should our brackets be filled.

Also please note that skill levels will be checked a final time at the end of next week so bracket tier participation will not be finalized until that time.
