The Spring 2024 Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown is scheduled for July 27-28 at Kenny's Cue Club.

8-ball will be played on Saturday, July 27 and 9-ball on Sunday, July 28.

Players must have been listed as an MVP at the conclusion of the Spring 2024 session and must still be active on a current session roster in the qualifying format (8 or 9 ball) to participate.

Registration is open online at batonrouge.apaleagues.com (under tournaments/singles) and online registration is the only means with which to register for this event.

Registration is open now through July 19th. No registrations will be accepted after the closing date FOR ANY REASON as the event schedule needs to be set and times are based on participation in each skill level tier.

This is a free event in which the winner of each tier earns some cash, the MVP award, and a spot in the March 2025 singles regionals to play for a trip to the 2025 APA Poolplayers Championships in Las Vegas.

This is a tiered event in which qualified 8-ball/9-ball participants compete in their (current) skill level tier: 2-3/4-5/6-7 for 8-ball and 1-3/4-5/6-9 for 9-ball. Skill level tier participation will be finalized after the closing of registration.

Team Certification forms and Greens fees due date

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete.
