Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown Update
The Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown is scheduled for this weekend with 8 ball on Saturday (3/23) and 9 ball on Sunday (3/24) at Kenny's Cue Club.

While I was able to keep the event a single modified format, due to the overwhelming response, we will need to adjust the races slightly but only on the loser's side of the bracket. In 8 ball, the losers side matches will be a single game. Once those players on the losers side return to the winners side, matches will revert back to full standard APA races. (trust me, we need to do this with the number of players participating in each tier). In 9-ball the race chart will be adjusted slightly on the one loss side to coincide with a slightly reduced ball count.

This is a free event with first place of each tier earning $200 cash, a spot in the October 2024 APA Singles regionals (a $128 value) and the coveted Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown plaque (it's a beaut). Runners up earn a cool $100.

Start times are listed below... those are start times, not show up at Kenny's time. I will draw the brackets at that time... if you are not there and checked in, you will not participate.
