Coming Events!!!! - since Thor White couldn't remember... here ya go dawg! (But a refresher was a good idea, so thank you Thor)

The Spring session means it's tournament time! Singles regionals, straight to Vegas qualifiers in 8/9/jack and jill, MVP Throwdown, Tri Cups, World Qualifier, Free Team Captains etc. etc.

So don't miss these dates!

Feb. 9th - 6 p.m. - Bounty and team captains giveaway drawings on Facebook Live featuring Jenny! Savannah Banana tickets included in there as well as other goodies including a new cue and APA swag.

Feb. 24 - Bayou Billiards - 8 Ball Scotch Doubles Straight to Vegas Qualifier

Registration opens Feb. 10th - 48 teams max

$100 entry, Max combined skill level of 10. Players must be on active 8 ball team with 20 scores in the format within the last two years. One timeout per team, per rack. Modified single elimination format. Players already qualified for the 9-ball singles in Vegas are not eligible to participate.

March 2-3 - Spring Singles Regionals at Buffalo's Billiards in Jefferson, La.

March 9 - Rickochet Billiards, Prairieville (tentative location) - 9 Ball Scotch Doubles Straight to Vegas Qualifier - Registration opens Feb. 24th - 48 teams max

March 8 - Team registration opens for Summer Session

March 16 - Baton Rouge APA at the Savannah Bananas - pregame meet up at Trickshots - time TBD

March 23-24 - Fall Session MVP Throwdown - Kenny's Cue Club

April 8 - Summer Session Begins - week 1

April 13 - Free Team Captain's Straight to Vegas Qualifier - Clicks Billiards (tentative location) - registration opens March 22nd - players must have been a listed team captain in two of three sessions of previous league year (Summer 23, Fall 23, Spring 24) to be eligible (yes I'll put out a list). Three player teams, Max combined skill level of 15, only one senior skill level per team match (6 or higher - higher of 8/9 skill level to be used 8/9's in 9 ball count as sl7 for this event) - two teams will win free travel assistance to compete in Vegas in August.

April 20-21 - Spring Session Tri Cups (final qualifying window for this years World Qualifier) - Trickshots

May 1-5 - APA Poolplayer Championships, Westgate Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas

May 23-27 - Baton Rouge APA World Qualifier at L'Auberge Hotel and Casino - more details to follow

June 8 - Jack and Jill 8 Ball Scotch Doubles Straight to Vegas Qualifier - Registration opens May 25th - 48 teams max

Team Certification forms and Greens fees due date

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete. Then I will start the process of having to track you down and look at you disapprovingly.But seriously, pl
