Happy Friday!!! Just a few reminders as we head on down the stretch run to the end of the Fall session...

Registration for the Spring 2024 session will open (for most divisions) next week. So when you open the scoring app and see the button to register your team for the following session... just click it and voila' ("which is french for... aaand then I found out" - do you know what movie that is from? - if you do and can cite the movie name and character who said it, text me the correct answer to 985-807-4829, first one in gets our very first pair of Savannah Banana tickets!! ) and that's it.. you're good to go for the Spring session! THE ANSWER IS IROK FROM THE MOVIE READY PLAYER ONE! - CONGRATS TO CELESTINE ROSS ON THE WIN...

Qualified teams in the Spring session have only through the fourth week of play to make roster changes! Any changes to qualified teams following that point will result in loss of qualification. In addition, qualified teams must maintain at least four original qualifying members to retain their qualification for the World Qualifiers (City).

Clear it up! Teams showing a past due balance at the end of the session will not be eligible for playoffs or the wild card drawing.

Status is important! Active that is... players qualified for singles regionals must remain on an active roster in the format for which they qualified or will lose qualification.

New divisions: We are currently working on putting together a Saturday Double Jeopardy division, a division in the Springfield area, and a scotch doubles division (night of play depends on the area). So if you are interested in playing on any of those dates, reach out to us directly... 985-807-4829... for more info.

Close to 8: The number of teams we can send to Vegas each year through the City Tournament is dependent on the number of teams we have participating in the spring session in the 8 and 9 ball formats. Last year we sent four 8-ball and three 9-ball teams. We are looking good for four 8-ball again but are a few teams short of the next plateau to send four 9-ball teams for the first time! So if you are interested in becoming a captain and starting a new team... let me know... we can help with putting it all together so we can hit that mark!!!

Tournament season: Check out batonrouge.apaleagues.com for info on upcoming Vegas qualifier and local events... 8-ball scotch doubles, 9-ball scotch doubles, MVP, Tri Cups, Team Captains, Jack and Jill are all scheduled for the start of the new year! But don't miss our next event: Nov. 25 our annual Toys for Tots Charity event at Trickshots (more info to come)

And get those make up matches finished. They must be done prior to the final two weeks of the session!
