Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown Update

The Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown is scheduled for this weekend with 8 ball on Saturday (8/26) and 9 ball on Sunday (8/27).

While I was able to keep the event a single modified format, due to the overwhelming response, we will need to adjust the races slightly but only on the loser's side of the bracket. In 8 ball, the losers side matches will be a single game. Once those players on the losers side return to the winners side, matches will revert back to full standard APA races. (trust me, we need to do this with the number of players participating in each tier). In 9-ball the race chart will be adjusted slightly on the one loss side to coincide with a slightly reduced ball count.

This is a free event with first place of each tier earning $200 cash, a spot in the March 2024 APA Singles regionals (a $128 value) and the coveted Baton Rouge APA MVP Throwdown plaque (it's a beaut). Runners up earn a cool $100.

This is our largest ever MVP event so it should be a good time and we are looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!
