Alright me hearties! The first round of bounties have been posted... some info for ya...

How to tell who has a bounty on 'em? Their first name on the scoresheet or scorekeeper app will read BOUNTY-M8 for example... which means they are the bounty that night M,TU,W,TH,F or S - Sunday and either 8 or 9 for the format (so if it's double jeopardy they are the bounty in either 8 or 9 ball... not both).

Now I'll fully admit this first week, I selected the players based on trying to pick players who would have an idea what the shipwreck was going on and so I didn't get 15 calls this week having to 'splain it to 'em. But after this we'll random draw it.

Ahoy matey’s (or is it maties, IDK, whatever)

It’s time again, after being lost at sea for two or so years, to put some players back on the deck with the chance at winnin’ some fine booty (and by booty we mean prizes, you scurvy dogs).

Each week, several players will be designated as a bounty player. How will ya know? Well the Bounty Players name will be replaced with a nickname on your scoresheet that week. So instead of “Matthew Brison” for example, it’ll read “BOUNTY Brison”. Now, we’s at yer league office know that many of ya are addicted and play multiple nights per week. Well it don’t matter none. Any and everytime you match up with a “BOUNTY” player, the booty is in play.

Now how do I determine who the Bounty player or players are for a given week ya ask? Well it’s a random draw of course, Lady Luck decides. How many get picked each week?…wellll… that be for ya captain to declare.. (I’m the captain. Me. So I decide.)

Now the winner of each bounty match will be rewarded with the coveted “Bounty Winner patch” (forwarded to their home location in the patch envelopes or available for pick up at Buckhorn or J’s Joint) and if, AND ONLY IF, the two players post a picture (together and lookin’ happy and such- no scallywags allowed) to our facebook group page (Baton Rouge APA Team Building Group) will they be entered into our session ending drawing for even more swag – which includes a fine pool-shootin’ cue – and other sought-after trinkets.

And avast ye!…for those of ya who thinks yer the god of pool or somethin’, and try to hornswaggle or start hanging the jib if ya lose or if ya done got a bit squiffy and start gettin’ salty with your opponent, remember, this here’s a fun program, act accordingly or you be walkin’ the plank down to Davy Jones’ locker.
