Registration opens Monday at 8 a.m. for the Baton Rouge APA Jack and Jill 8-Ball Scotch Doubles Straight to Vegas Qualifier scheduled for June 24 at Kenny's Cue Club.

Only 48 spots are available for this event. The winning team heads to Vegas in August to represent our area and compete in the World Pool Championships at the Westgate Hotel and Casino.

The team members must be from Baton Rouge APA and must each must have at least 20 8-Ball scores within the two years preceding June 30, 2023 and four scores from 8-Ball matches occurring during the preceding Spring Session of the League from which they qualified. Each team member must be on the roster of at least one active Summer Session team, playing in the 8-Ball format. Max combined skill level is 10.

Entry fee is $100 per team and should be paid via cash app to $batonrougeapa after registering. Starting Monday, May 8th at 8 a.m., teams may register online only at batonrouge.apaleagues.com by clicking on the tournament registration link located on the left hand navigation bar.

Team Certification forms and Greens fees due date

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete.
