2022-2023 World Qualifier Information - read this!!!!!

The dates of the Baton Rouge APA WQ are May 25-29. The event will be held at L'Auberge Hotel and Casino. We are working out the specifics of the schedule for the event and should have the framework to be released early next week. Play will begin for some teams as early as Thursday, May 25th but play on the 25th and 26th will begin no earlier than 6 p.m. on those nights. Expect to have rounds of play all day Saturday and Sunday with 1-2 rounds on Monday (Memorial Day).

Please remember that qualified teams must remain active in the format in which they qualified and maintain at minimum four original qualifying members to keep eligibility. Individual players must have played at minimum four times with the specific team in the spring session as well as have at minimum 10 lifetime matches played in the format by the end of the spring session (playoffs and tri cups included) to be eligible with that team.

We are working on producing preliminary rosters for the event and those should be available shortly after this weekend's spring tri cup.

The team certification form must be completed, scanned (both sides of the form) and returned to the league office at dvolz@apaleagues.com no later than May 20th. These forms are required to be on file and filled out completely for your team or teams to participate.

Green fees for this event are $100 per qualified team. This must be paid to the league office no later than May 13th. Teams may pay via cash app - $batonrougeapa - or venmo @Dart-Volz. Please note for which team you are submitting. Green fees for Masters and Ladies divisions are $50 due to the reduced number of players/matches.

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete.
