Jenny is obviously getting into the Christmas spirit since she went and bought bags and wrapping paper for giveaways at next weekend's event...smh. What's she planning on giving away?...who knows! I completely blame Angela Winfree for all the money this is costing me with these women LOL. But it should be a fun event with TrickShots SportsBar adding $200 to the tournament and the league adding $500. Hopefully we'll collect a bunch of toys for the kiddos. I need to get me one of those grinch costumes...
Here's the info if you didn't already have it.
Our next event... Saturday, Nov. 26 will be the Baton Rouge APA charity/holiday event at Trickshots Sports Bar. This is a Jenny and Angela production so make sure you come on out and support en masse so the missus is happy. Happy wife and all....
The blind draw 8-Ball scotch doubles tournament will be a $500 added event in appreciation to all of our members! You must be an active Baton Rouge APA member on a current fall session team to participate. Entry fee is $10 plus one new unwrapped toy (don't go diggin in yo kids toybox and throw something in a ziploc and think that'll qualify). If you don't bring a toy, the entry fee is $30 and we'll let the ladies get something for the kiddos. But we'd prefer to get some toys por favor. 100 percent payback (not the toys though silly, just the 10 entry plus the added $$$$) This event might also feature a few wrinkles and we'll get into that later.Event will open at 11 a.m. and start at noon with the scotch doubles tournament. - sign up online at batonrouge.apaleagues.com
We will also run a speed shot event as well as let ya'll beat up on the ol' League operator (on the pool table of course) to try to claim the most rare and coveted APA patch of them all... the "I Beat the League Operator" patch.
Justin is supposed to be cooking up some food for ya'll and I heard he has some skills in that department so come hungry.
It should be a fun day and we are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Dart and Jenny
