Week 5 update: So after almost two weeks in Vegas working the national event followed by a week of dealing with whatever it is I brought back from Vegas (was it Covid?? who knows) and I am finally getting back to normal-ish.

For most of our divisions we are now in week 5 of the fall session. Tri Cups are right around the corner (Sept. 10-11 at Kenny's Cue Club) followed by singles regionals the first weekend in October in New Iberia and our MVP tournament from the Summer session scheduled for Oct. 8-9th (more info coming). We are about to open registrations for the Big Easy Classic down in New Orleans slated for Nov. 11-13 and will soon post dates for some of our Straight to Vegas qualifying events! Lots coming up! High Point winner plaques will be distributed at Tri Cups. MVP Patches will first be available at our MVP Throwdown. Those not picked up will be distributed following the event.

Tomorrow morning we will post the brackets/pairings for the Summer tri cup so be on the lookout for that.

Also if your team is showing a past due, it's time to get all that cleared. We've been patiently waiting for everyone to figure out the new payment processes but if you haven't figured it out yet... ya ain't trying. So teams showing a past due from this point will not receive bonus points as is the standard.

Patches have been going out to host locations weekly (exception is tonight's Monday teams as two flat tires sidelined me and pushed my normal Monday delivery to Tuesday - apologies for that). Monday teams can grab them after Tuesday or wait until next Monday at their host location.

Finally congrats again to all of our teams/players who participated in Vegas at the World Pool Championships.... ya'll all did great and did a fine job representing for everyone in Baton Rouge APA
