Two days away from our first Baton Rouge APA Straight to Vegas qualifier... this of the 9-ball scotch doubles variety...at Bayou Billiards. Doors open and check in starts at 9 a.m. Boards drawn promptly at 10 a.m. You must be on site, checked in and paid before the board is drawn. (we don't wait for late arrivals)

Some notes to remember for those teams participating...

Saturday, Jan. 29 at Bayou Billiards - check in at 9 a.m., start at 10 a.m.

Max combined skill level of 10

Alternate shots

Modified single elimination format

One timeout per team, per rack

Players must be on a current 9 -ball team and have a minimum of 20 scores in the format within the last two years.

Good sportsmanship is a rule, not a suggestion

Team Certification forms and Greens fees due date

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete. Then I will start the process of having to track you down and look at you disapprovingly.But seriously, pl
