As a followup to last night's facebook live video...

Teams that have been participating in the fall 2020 session
- we will resume play as soon as possible (West BR and Iberville are already back in play as well as our scotch doubles divisions) once we have table availability either through the issuance of conditional permits to some locations or if the EBR percent positivity is 5 percent or below at next Wednesday's update. Please watch closely because we need to resume play ASAP in order to finish the fall session in time to start the spring session.

Teams currently participating should note their registration status for spring 2021 on their weekly team scoresheets once play resumes or alert me via FB, text 985-807-4829 or email (dvolz@poolplayers.com)

Teams that have been idle but are planning to return - ALL AREAS
-send in a registration notice to me via FB, or text at 985-807-4829 indicating your teams return including format, night of play and preferred host location - our goal is to restart these teams as spring session teams.
(teams currently qualified for the World Qualifier (City) must participate in the spring/summer sessions)

-we are awaiting percent positivity drops and table availability in other areas (north Livingston/River/Ascension) to return those teams to play but they may register in advance of a definitive start date.

ANNUAL DUES
As play resumes please note that annual dues to the APA national office must be renewed. The most convenient way is to register online through your free online member services account. Contact me with any questions.

TRI CUPS
We are awaiting bar reopenings and capacity numbers prior to being able to schedule the spring 2020 tri cups. We will set a date as soon as we can do so.

WORLD QUALIFIERS (CITY)
Normally scheduled over Memorial Day weekend, we will be forced to push back the dates for this event in order to complete even an abbreviated spring 2021 session. We have some dates in July reserved with L'Auberge (8-13) but are working to move those slightly to avoid a conflict with our Junior nationals event in St. Louis. We will have more information out as it becomes available.

JUNIORS
We are excited to restart our juniors program. We do not yet have a restart date but will do so once the regular league resumes play. Junior nationals normally take place in July but the status of that event remains uncertain.

NATIONAL EVENTS
The National Event structure has been changed to hopefully allow the events to be completed in 2021. The August event (5-14) will consist of the 8 and 9 ball singles events, 8 and 9 ball scotch doubles, Jack and Jill, Team Captains, Masters and Ladies. The October event (21-30) will feature only the full team formats for 8-ball and 9-ball.

Those teams that have restarted play, please remember to follow all guidelines regarding safe play so we can remain open. We will include reminders on the current guidelines with each team packet. If you have questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me at any time.
