Updated information for this weekend's MVP Throwdown including a few answers to frequents asked questions.

Please read and check the times closely.

Please note participants have been adjusted accordingly into tiers corresponding to current skill level tier or qualifying tier whichever was higher. (check for your name within your tier to verify check in and start times).

FAQ

Is the listed skill level tier, the one I have to play in? .... yes

Why are we starting so early? ... because we need to obviously. I don't really want to get up that early either.

Is it continuous play or round times? ... I think it says continuous..

Are APA rules in effect for this event? ... duh

Are there timeouts? ... no

How long are timeouts? ... see above

Can I take a break for lunch? ... Kenny's has food. Buy me something while you're at it.

Should we flip or lag for the break? ... lag.

How do the skill levels work in this event? ... play your normal APA race.

What can I win? ... you can win a really nice MVP Trophy, Cash money (in addition to the $10 entry, we add $150 per tier, generous, yes I know) and a spot in the next available APA singles regionals ($160 value)

What time will we get finished? ... when we have a winner.

8 a.m. - check in for 8 ball 4-5 skill level tier participants

9 a.m - 4-5 skill level tier begins - continuous play

11 a.m. - check in for 8 ball 6-7 skill level tier participants

12 p.m. - 6-7 skill level tier begins - continuous play

1 p.m. - check in for 8 ball 2-3 skill level tier participants

2 p.m. - 2-3 skill level tier begins - continuous play

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete.
