The Western Nebraska APA is pleased to offer extra opportunities for players to take part in APA Vegas events in 2025. Winners for these events will be decided by a random drawing to be held on Saturday, February 8th at 3 pm CDT (except for Team Captains Championship which will be held on Saturday, April 5th at 3 pm CDT). You can watch the drawings live on our player Facebook group (APA Poolplayers of Western Nebraska).

To enter, eligible players/teams can simply send their entry to the League Office via email to jbond.apa@gmail.com. Once received, we will respond with confirmation. The last day to submit entries is Friday, February 7th. NOTE: Team Captains Championship entries are due by Friday, April 4th.

Events that include lodging, entry fees, greens fees, and travel assistance are the Southwest 8-Ball Challenge, the Wheelchair 8-Ball Championship, and the Team Captains Championship.

We also are offering a spot in the Ladies 8-Ball Championship, but this event offers no compensation from Western Nebraska APA, as it is not allowed by the APA National Office. In other words, you pay all your own expenses.

Ogallala Duo Win Doubles Tournament

Thirty teams registered to compete in the 9-Ball Doubles Fun & Cash Tournament held Saturday at TJ's Family Fun Center in McCook. Up for grabs was a share of $2,500 in cash prizes, including $1,000 added by Western Nebraska APA. Top finishers include... 1st place ($900) - Dusten Van Velson and Jared Greene (Ogallala) 2nd place ($600) - Teena Fedorchik and Doug Figard (Kearney) 3rd place ($300)

Cash for Patches Winners

We have drawn our lucky winners for the Fall Session "Cash for Patches"! Getting $25 each are Eddie Park (Lebanon), Rich DeRockbraine (Johnson Lake), and Bart Spracklen (Sutherland). Don't care to collect your patches? All you have to do is request entry into our end of session drawing (rather than collecting a patch) each time you earn a patch. Example: John Smith - Rackless (Entry).

Alliance Qualifier Set

The 9-Ball Singles Qualifier to be held on Sunday at Bowl Mor in Alliance will have two players earning a spot in the March 2026 Singles Regional Championships! The bracket is posted below. Best of luck to everyone and have fun! Bracket
